20 Years of RRG: From Buildings to Better Places
In September 2026, RRG Real Estate Group marks 20 years on the Romanian real estate market — two decades of projects, investment and experience that have shaped the company’s approach to development today.
Since entering the Romanian market, RRG has invested more than €65 million in real estate development. Projects such as Linda Residence, Lighthouse and Park Avenue 96 marked different stages in the company’s evolution, gradually shaping the philosophy that defines RRG today: “Transforming space to better place.”
For Pavel Kodzik, President of RRG Real Estate Group, the biggest change over these two decades has been the way the company understands development itself.
“When you start, you naturally focus on the building — its architecture, construction and functionality. With experience, you begin to see a much bigger picture. A successful development is also about the environment around it, how people experience it every day and how the place will feel 10 or 20 years later.”
Different backgrounds. Shared experience.
RRG’s 20 years are also about the people behind its projects.
Today, RRG brings together a multinational team with different professional backgrounds and experience gained across different markets. This diversity allows us to bring different perspectives together and adapt relevant ideas to the Romanian market.
For Sergey Artemenko, Project Manager of Lakeside11, this is one of RRG’s strengths today:
“Different professional backgrounds give us access to a much broader range of ideas and solutions. We are not trying to simply reproduce what has worked somewhere else. We take different experiences, adapt them to the local context and combine them to create a better real estate product — one that responds not only to the market, but to how people actually want to live.”
Next Destination: Lakeside11
Twenty years of experience naturally lead to the question of what comes next. For RRG, the next destination is Lakeside11 — the company’s largest and most ambitious development to date.
Located on the shores of Lake Străulești in northern Bucharest, Lakeside11 is a low-density, business-class residential project conceived from the ground up around a new vision for RRG: more space, a stronger connection with nature, thoughtful architecture, functional planning and a greater focus on the overall living experience.
With a total planned investment of approximately €60 million, Lakeside11 represents a new scale for RRG. The first stage of development alone accounts for approximately €20 million, of which around €13 million has already been invested, including approximately €4 million in 2026.
The project is now visibly taking shape. Exterior façade works are at an advanced stage, while internal MEP installations and apartment finishing works are underway. Water and sewage connections have been completed, the electrical transformer station is built, and gas connection works are scheduled for September 2026.
Steady on Course
Twenty years have given RRG more than a portfolio of completed projects. They have brought experience, new perspectives and the confidence to keep evolving.
Today, with Lakeside11 taking shape and new ideas ahead, RRG remains steady on course — continuing to evolve while staying true to its philosophy of transforming space to better place.
